2024 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Detailed Revisions

For the 2024 Model year the Dodge Durango is welcoming the SRT Hellcat powered model, it will make a comeback alongside other updates for the 2024 Durango.

It seems that not much will be happening in the next year, possibly due to the uncertainty surrounding the future of the Dodge Durango itself. There have been various speculations about the Durango’s retirement, whether it be the entire model or just the name, or even the possibility of a larger SUV taking its place with a new name.

The automaker has also decided to make blind spot monitoring a standard feature across the entire lineup. Additionally, Blind Spot Monitoring with Trailer Detect will be added to the Trailer Tow Group, all welcoming additions to the Durango SRT Hellcat

It’s all in the Details

Now, let’s discuss the revisions. The Citadel trim will now have the option to include the Tow N Go Package, which was previously exclusive to the R/T trim. This package combines towing capabilities from the Trailer Tow Group with luxury and performance features such as headlight leveling, adaptive suspension, SRT performance exhaust, four drive modes, active noise canceling, 20-inch Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires on wheels, Brembo brakes, and a top speed of 145 mph. For the 2023 model year, this package comes at a price of $5,990. With this option, the towing capacity for the four-wheel drive Citadel increases from 7,400 pounds to 8,700 pounds.

If Dodge follows the trend of other automakers in streamlining their base models, the Durango SRT Hellcat will likely have a starting price above six figures. When Dodge finally announces pricing, it wouldn’t be surprising if the Durango, like the Ram 1500 TRX pickup, will be discontinued at the end of this year and bid farewell with a special edition model.

We hope you enjoyed this artilce on how the Dodge Durango is welcoming the SRT Hellcat model.
